Camden - Kings Bay Council

Wreaths Across America ceremony December 10th

Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, the mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out by coordinated wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery and more than 1,100 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad, including local ceremonies hosted by the Camden - Kings Bay Navy League Council.

Please join us on Saturday, December 10th as we remember and honor our fallen heroes by laying two wreaths in honor of the men and women who sacrificed so much for our country.

We will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the Veteran's Memorial Park in Kingsland, 201 W King Ave. Kingsland, GA, where we will place our first wreath, and then travel to the St. Marys downtown waterfront for a 10:45 a.m. ceremony and release of a wreath in the river to honor all the lives lost at sea.

Navy Chaplain Damian Velarde will be our presiding chaplain for this event. Please email Cheryl Aston, or call 912-882-2967, if you have any questions.
